Notes is a lightweight personal notepad built into the application. Each user can create private notes visible only to themselves — admins see their own notes, employees see their own notes. Notes are a good place for quick reminders, to-do items, or anything you want to jot down without leaving the app.
- Navigate to Notes from the sidebar (or the notes icon in the toolbar).
- Click New Note or the + button.
- Enter your note content in the text field. Notes support multi-line text.
- Click Save.
Notes are saved immediately and persist across sessions.
Click on any existing note to edit it. Make your changes and click Save.
Click the delete icon on any note to permanently remove it. There is no undo.
Notes are per-user and private. An admin's notes are not visible to employees, and employee notes are not visible to admins. Each user sees only their own notes.
- No formatting support: Notes are plain text only — no bold, italic, bullet lists, or other formatting. If you need formatted notes, use an external tool.
- No sharing: Notes cannot be shared between users. If you need to share information with your team, use event descriptions or the internal notes field on events.
- Deletion is permanent: Deleting a note removes it immediately with no confirmation prompt in some views. Be careful not to accidentally delete notes you need.
- Not linked to events: Notes are freestanding — they're not tied to specific events, quotes, or customers. If you need event-specific notes, use the event's description field or the private notes on a quote.
