The biggest update before 1.0 — the release that laid the foundation. Here's what shipped:
¶ CalOps — Your New Command Center
The calendar gained a real-time operations panel called CalOps that sits alongside your schedule on desktop screens. At a glance you could see:
- Upcoming jobs in the next 7 days
- Open quotes and their total dollar value
- Overbooked inventory — items that are double-booked across future events
- Overdue pickups — equipment that hasn't been picked up after an event
A delivery and pickup timeline showed the next 14 days of activity, and a live context card updated as you worked — open an event and it showed the key details; click a date and it summarized that day.
Apex Rental Pro started automatically watching for inventory shortages across future events. When two or more events needed more of an item than you had available, you got:
- A banner on your dashboard summarizing the conflict
- A detailed breakdown in the CalOps panel with buttons to jump to each event
- Optional email reminders — one when first detected, another 30 days out, and a final 7-day warning
New accounts were greeted with a 4-step setup wizard:
- Business profile — name, phone, email, address, logo
- Team & email — team members with generated passwords and email verification
- Inventory — starter template of common rental items
- Get started — quick shortcuts to create your first quote or layout

- Calendar Event Search (v0.74 — 2/21/2026): New search bar above the calendar to instantly find booked events by customer name, phone, email, address, notes, or rented items with live results as you type.
- Google Calendar Link Confirmation (v0.73): After Google OAuth returned to your workspace, you got an immediate popup confirmation that the calendar connection succeeded.
- Tenant Activity Log Reliability (v0.72): Core tenant logging gained smarter gateway URL fallback logic so activity logs kept flowing in hosted and reverse-proxy setups.
- Tax-Exempt Events (v0.71): Events could be marked tax exempt in both Direct Add Event and the Quote Builder.
